Happy Birthday Ivanpah!
As of early October, the Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System (ISEGS) has been under construction for one full year! We’ve witnessed towers beginning to grow taller, thousands of pylons placed in the solar field, heliostats being assembled and more. There are now over 800 total workers on site, with new faces arriving each week. Congratulations to the team!
One year ago this month, construction commenced at Ivanpah. Partners and elected officials recognized the historic day with a commemorative plaque.
